Artist History

Well, I started drawing when I was very little. Earliest memories I have of drawing are when I was 5. My mom has told me I even scribbled on the walls when I was a toddler though.I have 2 kids of my own and it's so cool to see them doin the same now! lol
It runs in my family and I drew a lot with my older brother growing up. For a little while I was looking at what he was doing, than I started following artists like Todd Mcfarlene.
When I was 10 a friend from school gave me the idea that I should make my own comic book. Since I was making ones of Transformers and Spider-Man with my own stories anyways.
So I started one and let me tell you,... it has come a long ways! And changed a great deal since back then, of course! lol
I still have the original issue (AAKK!!) People always get a kick out of seeing it still of course, except for me! lol
In my teens I started getting into portraits and I sucked pretty bad at first. But now I'm 28 and I'm a lot better at them. I get peoples likeness pretty exact. I decided at about 17 that I wanted to incorporate that into my comics and other drawings. Considering people turned out pretty cartoony back in the day.
Well, lately I've been just trying to get my comic perfected, would still like to turn it into a career though and do more painting. Which I recently got into when my girlfriend bought me some wicked art supplies.
I recently discovered this site and I've loved it thus far! I just wish I had a scanner so it would be a lot easier to get my art up on here. I might be getting one pretty soon though.
Either way, you'll see more of my art soon!
Peace
